[video] trouble in paradise;

 G-Guys--!? [the video is shaky, Ty Lee off camera, her surroundings almost too hard to make out. A loud bang! rings out, and Ty Lee yelps, the sound of swift, light footsteps sporadically sounding off. She's running, but she doesn't know where she's going.] 

I-I came out here this morning to try and look at the books, but--! EEP! [the video seems to spin a full 360 degrees, upside-down then back again in mere seconds.] I can't figure out how to get out of here and there's somebody in here that isn't me!

HELP?!

Ty-- [another crash; she seems to leap from one part of the room to another, turning the device to light her way] Ty Lee! You?

Okumura Rin.

[It'll take him a few more minutes before he comes crashing through the front door.]

OI! You still in here?! [He squints into the darkness and when that's not enough to see what's going on he holds out one of his hands, engulfing it in blue flames.]

[chiblocking]

[Woah! The last time Ty Lee had seen blue flames, it was absolutely bad news, but this was a relief - she recognized his voice and face, and waved from where she was perched atop a podium.] I'm here! [she hops off of the podium, breathing a sigh of relief.] Thanks.. something's here, though. I haven't seen it, but.. look.

[She points at a pillar, biting her lip, claw marks running up and down the architecture.] We should go.

Yeah let's get outta here.

[Rin jogs over to her taking a look at column as he passes it.]

Those end up on everything. If it's here I don't wanna stick around.

[OOC: Sure! Sounds good to me!]

'It' ..? [she decides not to ask. It's best for her not to know until she was far away from the convents.] Okay! Let's--

[with a loud, booming slam, the doors slam shut, everything going dark once more.] Holy--! [she spins around, her body tense, ready to fight.] What's 'it'!?

[Rin backs up towards Ty Lee. His hand is still on fire, dimly illuminating the area in an eery blue light.]

I dunno! No one's ever seen what does it! [He holds his arm up higher to try and get a better look around.]

The claw marks end up in all places that turn back to how they were and then fall apart again.

[chiblocking]

Well, someone doesn't want this place to look nice. [she looks back at him, curiously.] Are you a firebender ..?

[bluedemonflames]

The damn ghosts gotta have something to do with it. How long have you been around here?

[He raises his eyebrow at her in confusion, tail flicking behind him. It's only then that he realizes what's he's done. It's too late to put the fire out now though and he starts to look nervous.]

Eh? A what?

[chiblocking]

A fire--woah! [she spins around, shining the light of her device directly at his tail. How had she not noticed that before?!] That's..

[she looks up at him, beaming.] That's so cool! [Unfortunately, she has no time to check out his tail, as a loud clashing sound steals her attention away.] So-- where's the door again?!

[bluedemonflames]

That way I think. [He points back the way he came from casting light that way with his fire.]

C'mon. Let's get outta here before we have to find out what made the marks first hand!

[He starts walking in that direction and looks back at Ty Lee.]

You gonna be okay?

[chiblocking]

[She follows him immediately, nodding and moving forward -- setting her hands on his back to push him forward.] As soon as we're out of here, I will be!

[He jumps a little at the hands suddenly on his back. This whole thing has him on edge now. Though he's half hoping that he will get to fight the claw mark making monster.]

This kinda stuff must be new to you huh?
