[Yukio steps away from the window, very much serious business. He doesn't know how to broach the subject, especially seeing as his own experience with similar was less than gentle, so the best he can figure is to just... say it.]

Otou-san is gone.

[Lies... sort of. Yukio's so used to repressing, but Rin can easily spot the telltale signs. The tension in his shoulders, the furrow of his brow.]

[Rin moves forward and wraps one arm over Yukio's shoulder to pull him into a hug.]

[Yukio goes rigid when Rin hugs him, tremors running through him. It's been a very, very long time since he's let himself cry, and he's not sure he wants to now. Hell, he's not entirely sure he remembers how.]
