[Video] V
[She's looking less tired now, sitting on her bed with the windows behind her. Back to her normal colourful dresses and neatly bound up hair, save for the odd curl that escapes. Her little sewing decoration is tied around her wrist now though, all finished. Testament to how much nothing keeps her outwardly down for long.]
Since there's so many new people arrived, treat this as an announcement of sorts to extend my services. I'm Elizabeth, I'm in room 601 and I sew. I can fix any rips in your clothes, alter them, or if given material, I can make some things within reason. I'm out of practise, so to speak. Large projects take time, resources, so on so forth. I suspect those of you that can would be better off buying things in the city across the river.
[Which no, she doesn't want modern clothes just yet. She feels naked already thinking about not having corsets.]
But all that aside, for sewing purposes, I'll be leaving a basket outside my door, leave whatever it is that needs fixing there with an indication to who it belongs to, and I should have it done within the day, if there's not too much. [... and she grows stern for a moment, speaking like she did to her advisors. Flat, stern and rather grave.] And I'd ask you not to steal each others clothes. Because it's a headache I do not even want to think about, I'd hope there is some measure of trust between us all. [It's a common enough event to her, because of the sheer amount of jewels sewn into clothing, or in the lower classes, just having clothes at all meant a great deal of stealing.]
Oh and master Dextera? I've finished translating the evening prayers for you. I'd play the Kyrie for you to hear, but I have no instrument, the best I could is sing, but I am even more out of practise with that then I am sewing. [Laughs at little.] Come collect them whenever you wish, I'm in my room at present.
[Private to Cross]
... I don't want to hear otherwise about this. You're taking my jewels, the hair pins are all diamonds. I sold one, and I got much too little for it. But my lord Tyki assured me that such things have not lost their value, and there is another six. I don't know how much the pearls will fetch, but it should be something. You'll get a much better price for them then I will with my poor Russian. [She's keeping her face blank about this, but stern.] There is much better uses for them then adornment.

Alright. I'll be waiting.
[action???]
But after a couple of minutes, Kanda's leaving the dress shirt and vest in his backpack with his name on it, then knocking on her door.
Delivery made, time to attempt leaving.]
[action~]
He can try to escape all he likes, not going to work. She opens the door at the knock, tacking the backpack and fishing out the clothes. Looking at them mostly as she talked.]
Kanda, what on earth do you do to your clothes? Use them as sheaths for blades? Get rolled down cliff faces?
[action~]
Stopping to glance back at her, in his night shirt now. Which has clearly been taken care of better than a dress shirt.]
I lived on the streets for three months before I came back here.
[action~]
[Holding up his vest now, just peering at it. Pins, she was going to need pins. Some of the rips would probably need to be back so they didn't just come undone again.
Which on the note of clothing...]
... Do you need more clothes? I'll do as I can, even if it takes some time?
[action~]
[Gives a shrug as he starts for the stairs again.]
If I need more clothes I can go to Credinta.
[action~]
[She nods, bundling up the things.]
Much better option. Do you need money for that?
[Because she had some left over.]
[action~]
I'm sticking with my usual method. Don't fix what isn't broken.
Re: [action~]
But your clothes are broken, clearly, else I wouldn't be fixing them. You've got no other clothes, from the fact you're wearing a nightshirt. Wouldn't that count as being 'broken'? Would at least one other shirt be so troublesome? What happens when it gets cold? [She's being very careful to just be casual, and not remotely forceful with her opinion, leaning against the door frame.]
[action~]
[action~]
[Sigh. Right then.]
As it pleases you, my lo-- Kanda.
[action~]
Just let me know when you've got it done. There's no rush. [Because there never really is, here.]
[action~]
No, I suppose not. But, I'm efficient at the very least. The idleness of this place drives one to despair sometimes. Now I know how my dolls as a girl must of felt.
[action~]
[action~]
[She shrugged, it was as it was. Nor was it said for pities sake. She was what she was, someone has to be.]
[action~]
[action~]
[She shrugged.]
These will be done by this even Kanda, and I'll do what I can to reinforce them to not rip again.
[action~]
[...]
That's fine. I'll pick them up later.
[action~]
I'll leave them outside the door when they're finished, so you won't have to suffer any more conversation. [Since he was being kind, in his way, she supposed she could be so back.]
