[Video] VII
[She's more or less built herself a tiny battle layout on her floor, peering down at it. The incoming soldiers are random pieces of material.]
Forgive me this authority, but I've a plan, should you wish to follow it. [she clears her throat.] I'm schooled in war, even if I cannot fight.
I told this to my lord Yukio, and I think it's our best chance. In this case straight out battle is useless to us, we don't have the numbers to break them. What we do have is our reputation to think of. And what they want. Which is simple, they're only human, men who want to go home to their families, to their women and children, to warm beds, and they already think we're monsters, else they would think this -- [a rather short gesture out the window, and there's a sneer in her words] -- was necessary.
So use it against them, make them believe we really are inhuman. The fog's with us. Already they are out of their element they cannot see us properly, as well it muffles our movements. And scared because of how unsettling this place, but we know the lay of the land and can trap them. Those of you with above human abilities, go in first, do not put yourself directly in their line of fire by any means, you're useless if you get killed. But do things to divide them, separate them and make sure it's huge, flashy. At the very best they will run, because they do not want to be here. They will run all the way back to their city.
If not, if they really mean to stay here and kill, at the very least they will become skittish. Enough of it should in time give them want to divide, which case those of you who are not so showy... I'd suggest you pick them off one by one. I know it's not honourable, but we really don't have time for those sort of things.
... [she's just cold.] Lastly, show mercy if you wish too, at the very least we can use hostages to negotiate a peace. So perhaps takes prisoners if you can without personal risk. But remember this, they don't want to show you mercy at all, they want to drive us from this place. Damned it might be, but this is our city, it is our home, and if any of you die, for any stupid heroics when you could be doing something far more useful, I will never forgive you, do you understand?
I think that is everything I can think of. Any further questions, see my lord Yukio or myself.
[SENT LATER]
I'll be on the roof, with my lord Yukio. Please relay to me any position or if you need any assistance, I'll be keeping a eye on all. [because you're her people.]

I'll be on the roof, with my lord Yukio. Please relay to me any position or if you need any assistance, I'll be keeping a eye on all. [
voice;
Kanda and I have an idea, we are going to execute it in a few moments.
voice;
What exactly so I can tell the others to stay clear of it?
voice;
Well, there is going to be wind and nasty looking bugs a few blocks from the apartment building. We are going to try to keep them from marching toward it.
voice;
Yes this... well it's the most easily defended position from most of the buildings around here. The more you can thin them out, the better...
voice;
We will do our best. Okumura said he would watch our backs.
voice;
He will be. I will too, I'm taking up position on the roof as well. I think Alma wants to help as well...
... Lavi, do not get hurt. I will be very upset if you do.
voice;
I know Kanda would prefer to keep him out of harm's way. I do too. [Not that Lavi knows all of Alma's back-story.
He quiets.] I will do my best but sometimes it is unavoidable in battle.
voice;
saw nothiiiing]I know. It's why I'm keeping him close. I can keep an eye on him, keep him focused from wondering off with things that need doing here.
[She doesn't know anything, just that he's a child, and children need to be protected, but they're not the only ones.] I know that, do you forget from where I come? Who I am? But don't do anything stupid. We are all any of us have here -- they can go back to their city, we have to stay here. How would feel if Kanda or Lenalee were taken so violently?
voice;
[See. This is sort of what he has an issue with. That she thinks that he'd forget who she is, what she was raised to be, and that she thinks that of him... It's an affront to his job. And to him.
His tone loses any softness it might have had when talking of Alma.] My lady, I never forget. Anything. All there is in my home is war, this is where I am at my best. I do my utmost best to make sure they are safe as well as anyone I am protecting. I do not want to make either of them sad and I know they would not wish sadness on me at the loss of them.
[Do not hang up, Lavi.]
voice; 1/2
But she also knows this isn't the time and place, not with him readying an attack, and her needing to keep her attention as broad as possible.] We'll talk, when this is over.
voice; 2/2
Please... They are not... I will sorely miss you, my lord.
voice;
But he does remain quiet for a short while after her last words.]
My death is not in this land, I will not die here.
voice;
Still her words are clipped and short.] Then I will see you once battle is done.
voice;
