 [The video clicks on, and there isn't much to see really...

... Just a knight, passed out in one of the streets, and he looks a mess. Blood and sand splattered all over him, staining the red and yellow tunic and congealed between the links of chain mail. Not that much of it seems to be his, minus the wound on his face, running down his cheek. 

Eventually though, he moves a little, pushing his head and shoulders up, coughing for a moment as he spits up more blood. Slow and sluggish, either from tiredness, or how heavy the chain mail is, probably all of it. The device is clutched in his hand, but he doesn't seem to take much notice of it, or that it's recording until he tries to push up onto his knees and stares at it.]

What -- ? 

[he drops it and it shuts off.]

[he sways for a moment more before he takes a deeper breath.] Tell me, where am I?

You're in Russia. Nesresa, to be exact. [ If that means anything. She watches him a little longer. Blood loss, she will assume. ] Is there anyone on their way? [ Someone who knows more than basic first aid. ]

Russia? How did I end up so far north? [Now he actually looks disturbed. But his eyes tell him she's not lying. She's certainly no saracen, and this is certainly not the Holy Land.

... Or any place he's ever seen before.

It is a little much to take easily, and he takes a moment to wipe the blood off his mouth on the back of his hand. Thinking rapidly.]

How long have I been gone out? [Assuming she was at Kerak.]

There's a strange force here that takes people from different places and times and places them here. [ Very, very far from the Holy Land. ]

Gone out--? I'm not sure what you mean, sorry. I can only tell you that you've probably only just arrived. It...happens. Abruptly. [ Unfortunately. ]

Because she knows enough history to know that Saladin was someone from...very early. ] This is like a different world.

Different time...? [He stares, confused. This doesn't make any sense at all.]

... Have I died? [and gone too purgatory? Because this couldn't be heaven, but it wasn't as bad as Hell so far.]
