[Alma's spent most of the afternoon outside the apartments. The boy's all bundled up in his winter clothes and that over-sized jacket he seems to like so much, his black golem tucked carefully into his hood. He's pretty pink in the face, but his expression says he's having a great time. There's only one thing missing.]

Everyone, it's snowing! Come outside and play!

[Is it cold? Heck yeah, it is, but it's snowing. What kind of little boy would he be if he let the weather go to waste?]

[Oh Alma. Kanda's wallflowering by the apartment building again, settling for just watching the bitty play. No chiding to get inside, no careful monitoring like their first winter here.

He's just letting him play, wrapped up in his wool jacket and trench coat and scarf. He's pretty content as he is here.]

[Good, because Alma might have to respond to chidings with snowballs to the face. He's a big boy now.

His message delivered, Alma goes back to what he was doing: rolling the bottom for what he hopes will be a fairly large snowman. Packing and lifting the snow is easy... but he may need trouble when it comes time to stack up his snowman parts. His imagination exceeds his height and arm length.]

[He knows, that's why he's given Alma more freedom throughout the year. Allen would have likely done the same too.

A snow man, huh? Kanda's got an idea for one of those, so he actually comes on over to help Alma when he needs it.]

Think we should make this one look like Cross?

[Beansprout would be proud of both of them. ;;

Alma blinks up at Kanda, smiling and a little breathless.]

Think we can?

[More you than him, Alma.

Also, you need to stop every once and a while for breathe :T]

We can certainly try.

[Never! There's too much fun to be had to bother with breathing.

Alma grins wide and starts rolling up a smaller ball of snow to serve as Cross' head.]

What should we use for his hair?

[You need to anyway! :T

Huh. He hadn't thought of that. :|a] I bet there's fabric or something we can use.

[:P]

Oh, good! Then we can get rocks and stuff for his face. And maybe a little stick so it looks like he's smoking.

Yeah, those'll work pretty good.

[Yeeees, this is happening!

Alma finishes rolling the snow-head and glances back at Kanda.]

Can you lift me up so I can put his head on?

[Can't help but let out a soft snort and a slight grin before moving to pick Alma up, arm around his waist.]

Lift!

[Alma laughs and settles the head onto the snow-body, taking a second to carefully shift it around until he deems it perfect.]

Done!

[Setting him back down.]

Looks good, Alma.

[Alma surveys the results himself once Kanda puts him down, nodding and looking up at his best friend with a wide grin.]

Help me find some rocks for his face?

Sure. Where do you want to look?

Enough to build a snowman out there yet? [He's working on a crafting project again.]

Yeah! [Alma grins and holds of a fistful of snow.] It's all nice and soft!

Might have to go down there and help you build a snowfort.

Yu's helping too! We're making a Cross snowman right now, but I wanna do a fort too.

Got a red wig for it?

Yu said we might be able to find some red fabric for the hair.

Certainly think that we have some floating around, I've got a scarf if nothing else.

Great! I'm gonna find an old coat or something too so it'll really look like him.

I'll bring out an empty wine bottle too, that'll complete it.

[Raven isn't that fond of snow...not without things to keep her warmer, but she's...managed here. Especially after she's been here a while. So, probably after he's been out there a while and gotten a good head-start on stuff, Raven'll head out. Bundled in her cloak, and oversized coat and other layers beneath, just watching. Alma does have a soft-spot in her heart, after all...]

[By the time Raven arrives Alma will have his snowman mostly finished. It has an old coat draped around it and a slightly ragged bit of red fabric laid over its head. Carefully arranged rocks make up a grumpy face and a small twig seems to be serving as a cigarette.

All in all, it looks quite a bit like General Cross.

Alma catches a glimpse of Raven lurking and turns to flash her a bright smile.]

Hi, Raven!

[Well, Raven is amused--even if she won't show it. Only Alma could likely get away with that...]

You've been busy, huh? What's next on your snow-building agenda?

[Because Alma is MAGIC~

The boy looks thoughtful for a moment, pursing his lips.] ... I dunno. What do you think?

[Blink...blinkblink. Raven is not much for playing in snow--so...one moment, while she tries to think of something.]

Uh....well...I'm sure if we had time for fun, and snow in Jump--Robin and Beast Boy and Cyborg would probably get a snow fort or two, especially since we'd need protection once Beast Boy started throwing snowballs at us all.
