But. Should Cross look outside, he'll find a very familiar wine bottle outside the door. The kind the general always brought for the two to drink. It was meant to be a Christmas present, but Kanda's always done things differently.]

[Alma's on the move as soon as Cross delivers his message, scampering for Elizabeth's door. The general wouldn't lie about something like this... but he needs to see for himself. The boy skids to a stop when he reaches Lizzie's door, staring breathlessly at the nameplate.

He lingers in front of the door, as if her name will reappear if he stares long enough. After a while he just... sits, leaning against the wall on the other side of the hallway. He doesn't want to go back to his own room yet. If he does, the moment he sees Kanda he's going to start crying.

Elizabeth went home. It's a good thing, so he shouldn't be so sad.]
