When's the last time anyone saw Lavi in person? I've...checked at least one of his hiding spots I know about, and I'm going to go check his room.

[Her voice is remarkably calm--even if she herself is not. Very much not...]

[He allows the hug, but doesn't hug back yet. He just... stands there, face pressed into Raven's shoulder, body shivering (though whether it's just because of the cold is debatable).]

[It's at least giving her focus, so her powers aren't going haywire. She'll just hold him tightly, and bundled up, cloak around him.]

...I'll miss him Alma...he was my closest friend here.

[Her voice is very quiet, and she's clearly sad.]

He reminded me of one of my friends back home, who always stood by me. Who kept us together. Even though Lavi was different, he'll be missed just the same. We all have to hold each other together now.

I always thought... I never had a brother, 'cept for Yu, but I thought maybe Lavi...

[His voice cracks when he gets to Lavi's name, and his small shoulders start to shudder.]

[She does, she can feel both their pains and loss...and she is going to miss Lavi hard. So much like Robin, and so different too.]

I think he'd think of you as family too, little one. All of us here are a very strange family.

[He knows that Lavi was family. Alma's never had real blood ties, not with his particular... beginnings, but Kanda and Lavi and a few others... he knows that that's what family is. It's thanks to Nesreca that he's gotten to experience that bond, but it's also thanks to this place that he's experienced loss. That he's experiencing it again.

He hiccups into Raven's shoulder, obviously crying now.]

B-But he was here so long, and now he's g-gone. Like A-Allen...

[Oh bitty...Raven can't cry--not and maintain what little control she's holding on to---so you cry for both of them. But she will and is holding him tightly, her shoulders shaking a bit too.]

I know...and I know it hurts. You're not alone though, and we have to remember that. Lavi wouldn't want us to fall apart.

[Crying is something Alma can definitely do. After a few moments he finally lifts his arms to hug back. Or cling, more like.]

I don't have an answer for that, Alma. I wish I did. All I know is we have to stick together.

No one ever has an answer. They never know who'll stay and who'll go. Sticking together is all they can do.]

[She'll hold him as long as needed, as it's...helping her too. He's crying for both of them, since Raven can't. She'll just bundle him up, keep the rain from them, and keep him warm. Stroking his back, and keeping them together.]
