001 :: Video

[Wearing an expression very much unlike his usual composed look, Itachi looks something like he's seen a ghost. It fades to something less frantic, a frown as he tries to figure out how to make the device do what he wanted.]

Shisui. Can you hear me?

[A moment, and-- nothing. He sighs, pressing something else which turns the video feed off, leaving only the rustle of sound as he fumbles with the thing.]

Shisui?

[Another frustrated noise, and he manages at least to end the whole feed.]

We all live in the apartment building, it's the tallest building that you'll see on this side of the bridge.

A few more places have gotten restored and then destroyed since then but they're all marked by huge claw marks.

So far it's a mental list, but yeah. I'm doing my best with it.

We're not sure what makes the restorations to be honest, or how places are picked. [This is a kid that never forgets anything, Itachi, even if he wanted to.]

Exactly, they usually stay restored for a day from midnight to midnight. It lets us get a lot of things out of there if we pay attention.

Do you send someone to check then? Every day?

No, it happens about once a month as well. I'm up in the skyline a lot so I notice it from afar.
