I'll be blunt about this. The place in which most of us live is utterly miserable. I've seen more cheer in a graveyard.

I cannot be the only person who wishes to change this. I've some ideas, but I'd like to know anything else that people want before I start making plans.

Any offers for assistance would be greatly appreciated as well.

Elizabeth will do fine. 'My lady' if titles really bother you, Lavi insists on calling me that, for instance. But it's no matter either way to me. [She smiles, trying to set him at ease. The fuss really wasn't necessary, especially when their was work to do.]

No, I remember what they said if Russia, well some of it. I think books on farming in this area will be useful, first. Clearly something grows, else there wouldn't be food. Maybe a set menu, as well? Saves you thinking too much, and makes it easier to know what to collect.

I can work with whatever they bring back as far as food goes. Might be hard to always find the same things in town. We should get a list if people are allergic to stuff to keep around. So no one gets left out. Lavi can read Russian so we should ask him about the farming books.

... Mine is rather long, the full term of address that is. "Elizabeth Tudor, daughter of Henry Tudor, by the grace of god, Queen of England, Ireland and France." And then formally in shorter address it's usually just 'Her Majesty'. Having something after my name is a novelty, really. Because my name is being said at all.

It's alright, no one calls me that except on formal introductions -- and no one is formal here, so it doesn't need to be remembered. Usually my close friends just call me 'my lady'. But, really, just call me as you find fitting, it does not bother me, I've been called everything.

That's excellent, I'm so very pleased at the way people help each other here, it's such a novelty to me. [No, really.]
