[Video] III
[You see this face? This is the face of someone who needs a great deal of alcohol.
Her hair is actually too big to fit on the video feed. Which means you only see the chicken that's stuck on the top when she bows her head. Which is often enough, because it weighs more then you think it would. Not that it's the only thing on it -- there's every other kind of terrible looking 'decoration' on it, too. She's got a head ache just thinking about brushing it all out.]
Has anyone had any luck getting theirs out?

Re: [video]
No, I did not think you would. You seem rather hard working, I can already tell that much.
[Because he talked like she did. 'Her' people. 'Her' men. That pride borne of caring, attentiveness.]
See, now was that so hard to speak of? [referring to his apparent nervousness. ]
Re: [video]
[He laughs. She saw right through him!]
No, my lady. It wasn't. You see, I was a little started, when I heard... Where I am from, the Queen of England is also my Queen.
Re: [video]
... She is?
[At that, she had to sit up a little, hair be damned.]
You are clearly not from my time. Do we reign still? That is my family -- Do I -- [Abruptly she cut herself off. Did she even want to know? Would it change something? She remember the plays about things that this. It cursed the people in question to the horrible fates which they learnt of. No, she had better ask safer questions.]
... Does England rise about such meagre means, does she prosper? [Her tone was commanding. She did not mean to be, but she needed to know.]
Re: [video]
E-Er...
[He does not know quite what to say. History isn't really his thing, and so it wasn't as though he could talk about the finer details of her family, anyway. Besides, he was further back in time than most of the others here. Gah! When was she from? What did she know of the British Empire, colonization? There was the Great Depression, the effects of the second World War... so much he could say...
So what does he say to that? Maybe he should just keep his mouth shut. No, that would be a bad idea. Sure, it depended on the perspective, but..
Kiriko nods politely with a small smile.]
..Yes. I can't claim I've ever lived there, but the Monarchy's reach is.. wide.
[Is all she discerned from that, half answer.]
I am sorry to question you so harshly sir. I suppose a better question would be to ask when are you from? That way I can work out how long England has reigned for.
Re: [video]
No, not at all. For me, it was the year 1971.
Re: [video]
... That is nice to know at least.
Re: [video]
I hope I haven't upset you.
It's difficult to explain. [She gave him a shaky smile.]
I might leave England. England doesn't leave me.
