Is this Hell? But... I'm not dead yet. I've got another week yet... Or did I forget my last days on earth? I don't...get it. I don't get it at all. Where is everybody? And what do I do now?

[She hopes that people will take pity on her and help her because she's fifteen and pathetic-looking. That and her massive entitlement complex, but that's another matter in and of itself.]

So you've never been diagnosed, or you've just never been treated?

Never been diagnosed with anything. I can't risk going to the doctor in the first place. They might...find...stuff out.

[She's only entertaining the idea of telling him because this isn't home. It won't get back to social services. She's safe here, in ways she's never been at home.]

[She pulls an arm in through her sleeve and extends it out the bottom of her shirt for him to see--easier than rolling it up. Her arm is covered in bruises and round little burns in various stages of healing.]

[His eyebrows furrow immediately at the sight, examining closely, but not touching.]

They...go all the way up my arms and down my shoulders and my back. On both sides.

Nobody back home can know...

Are there any that need treatment right now?

[pencilpremonition]

You mean like burn cream?

[She blushes, but turns her back to him. Then she hikes her shirt and sweater up, displaying her shoulder blades to him. There's several burns that are fresh and angry on her back and up near her neck.]

[Congratulations, Yukio, a girl just took her shirt off for you.]
