[Rin is standing in the make shift kitchen room of the apartment building. He has a pan in one hand with rather tasty looking food sizzling inside of it. It looks like there's fish involved and he's grinning proudly.]

Oi. Yukio! Come up here and get some food. It's fish! Happy birthday!

[Kuro bounds out of nowhere up onto Rin's shoulder and mews excitedly. "Happy birthday Yukio!"]

Oh, and I guess if anyone else wants some you can come get it. I got some extra fish. All you new guys should know this is the kitchen so don't wreck it. There isn't anywhere else to cook unless ya want to start a fire outside.

[And he turns off the video.]

[Yukio comes into the makeshift kitchen a few minutes later, sniffing appreciatively at the delicious smells wafting through the air.]

[He holds a plate out to Yukio and a spoon. Sorry he has yet to get ahold of proper chop sticks.]

[Taking his seat at the table and setting down the remaining two plates. Kuro jumps up to sit on the edge of the table in front of his plate.]

[Rin doesn't have to tell him twice. Yukio takes a mouthful, closing his eyes for a moment in appreciation. How Rin manages to cook properly in this place is beyond him.]
