[Becca stares down at the device in her hands, a puzzled expression on her face.]

Is this Hell? But... I'm not dead yet. I've got another week yet... Or did I forget my last days on earth? I don't...get it. I don't get it at all. Where is everybody? And what do I do now?

[She hopes that people will take pity on her and help her because she's fifteen and pathetic-looking. That and her massive entitlement complex, but that's another matter in and of itself.]

[Oh, now he's going to have to fret about that. It's doubtful that he has anything in his supplies to help with heart problems aside from some aspirin.]

There's nothing stopping you from going on as a normal person like the rest of us. You don't need to see ahead.

I've always seen ahead...ever since I was itty bitty... I don't know how to be normal... I can't cope...

[She gasps for air, but slowly manages to calm herself down. Once she can feel her heartbeat returning to normal, she moves to throw her arms around him for a clingy hug.]

[He holds himself fairly stiffly, wobbling a bit where he's crouched, but quickly regaining his balance. Eventually he places a tentative hand on her back, patting lightly.]

[She sighs, shaking her head.]

Panic attacks have nothing to do with how "strong" a person might be. I've experienced them myself.

[He chuckles lightly.] I wasn't very cool when I was younger.

[He's blushing! That's so cute! She should say something. Except...now she's blushing, too. She looks down at her lap and fidgets.]

[Aaaaaah, this is terribly awkward. Back to doctor-mode!]

Ah... Are you feeling better now?

Oh...yeah. Yeah, I am. Just scared and confused, but...my chest doesn't hurt any more.

So you've never been diagnosed, or you've just never been treated?

[Gotta be sure.]

Never been diagnosed with anything. I can't risk going to the doctor in the first place. They might...find...stuff out.

[She's only entertaining the idea of telling him because this isn't home. It won't get back to social services. She's safe here, in ways she's never been at home.]
