[Rin is standing in the make shift kitchen room of the apartment building. He has a pan in one hand with rather tasty looking food sizzling inside of it. It looks like there's fish involved and he's grinning proudly.]

Oi. Yukio! Come up here and get some food. It's fish! Happy birthday!

[Kuro bounds out of nowhere up onto Rin's shoulder and mews excitedly. "Happy birthday Yukio!"]

Oh, and I guess if anyone else wants some you can come get it. I got some extra fish. All you new guys should know this is the kitchen so don't wreck it. There isn't anywhere else to cook unless ya want to start a fire outside.

[And he turns off the video.]

[Yukio peeks through the open doorway from where he's sitting at the table with his fish.]

Hello, Lavi-san.

[Grins at the both of them.]

Only if there's enough to spare, yeah? I know we got a lot of hungry mouths around here. But I got something for the both of you.

[Okay, not much of something but you guys gave him no warning! Handing Rin one slip of paper and Yukio the other. Inside in Lavi's scrawl is a promise to take the both of them to Credinta before the new year. Since...they might not have gotten to it yet.]

Know it's not much but you guys didn't give a heads up. [And...sorry if some of his cheer seems a bit fake, missing Allen a bit.]

[Rin takes the paper and motions at the pan sitting behind him.]

You're one of the mouths ya know. Just eat it.

[Now unfolding his paper and staring at what it says a second. Then he throws his hand up in the air excitedly. He's been wanting to go over there for almost as long as he's been here.]

This is friggin' awesome! Thanks man!

[Blinking at that paper for the moment, then smiling.]

... Thank you, Lavi-san.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. [Light hearted tone as he goes to get some fish.]

Figured since we didn't get around to it earlier we might as well make a big trip of it, yeah?

It's still awesome!

So how're we gettin' in?

[Yukio's looking... hesitant, but he doesn't interrupt. He's still wary of taking Rin to Credinta. His brother's control has improved a lot since they arrived, but it's still such a risk...]

Before the new year, while they're still preoccupied by the holidays. Figured that'd give us the best shot at remaining unseen. But I do have a rule, you listen to me. If I say run for it, run. If I say shut up, zip your mouth. We don't...know what happens if we end up dying here and I've got no plans to go to jail.

Yeah I can do that! Whatever you say!

[Oh, Lavi, Yukio likes you very much right now. He's still worried, of course, but when does he stop worrying?]

... Control will be essential, Nii-san.

Just so long as we're all clear on the rules I'm good. Rather not have to bop one of you on the head and make a hasty escape.
