[The video comes on as the device hits the ground, falling out of Loki's pocket. He's sitting on the ground, holding a golden, horned helm in his arms and has blood on his face, chest, forearms, hands and little spatters of it on his lower body. He looks to be in one piece but when it comes to the trickster god, looks can be deceiving.]
Damn you all...
[Closed eyes open when the boy realizes he's no longer leaning against the stand the helm had been on and it takes a quick moment for him to realize. Nope, not in Oklahoma anymore. He fumbles to pick up the device when he notices it's not in his pocket, bloody fingers smearing the red over the camera lens before the feed goes out.] |
|
[Loki comes into view and he's holding his magpie in one hand and a bunch of berries in the other.]
Ikol found sweet berries. They are not of a poisonous nature if anyone wants them for anything I will be happy to take you to where there are more to be found.
[The bird's beak opened for a moment and the boy glared at the creature in his grip.] Hush you. Not a smarmy comment from you bothersome bird. |
|
[The feed comes on to a scream and the running of bare feet before the room goes quiet. A moment later, there's a rather distressed cry from a bird.]
NO! Thor stop! You're going to ruin it all! Please don't...! You love this realm please don't destroy it... Don't let it fall into ruin like this.
[The boy whimpers, smacking into a wall as he tries to get away from something he was seeing. He curled up where he had hit the wall and slid down, the device falling from his pocket.]
Loki. Stop. It's a trick. I used to do this to people all the time. Calm down.
Make it go away Ikol. I don't want to see it anymore.
[A soft click and the feed cuts off.] |
|
[When the feed comes on, there's a bird talon over most of the view before a hand swatted the bird away. Free of a bird foot, the view showed that Loki was on the floor in the apartment "library" on a pile of grasses with a sheet tossed over them and a pillow on one end of it. Any personal things the boy had picked up already were scattered around the bed as well.]
Ikol, it says here that I am Odin's blood-brother! Was this always the myth here in Midgard? Why would they think such a thing?
[The book comes in focus when the boy shifts, showing it to be a Russian tome with art on the cover of a man riding an eight-legged horse. The magpie, Ikol, landed on Loki's knees and seemed to answer the boy, though anything it happened to say was unintelligible on the feed.]
Why do the mortals think such things? Hela is most certainly not my daughter. Stop that you blasted pest. I no longer wish to hear your snark!
[Loki used the book to swat at his bird, sending the creature off his knee and it flew into the communicator, ending the feed.] |
|
Where did this come from…? It's certainly not my Stark Phone.
[Loki sits on a rock, staring at the device in his hands, brows furrowed in concentration. His thumbs clicked away, but he failed to realize it was on and recording him.]
I wonder where Leah and Ikol went… Thori! Here boy! We need to go find Leah before she breaks something expensive.
[The boy got up, looking around the place he stood, lowering the device to his side. A strange sound came from the little god when he realized he was alone.]
…Thori…? |
